We are pleased to announce that Christopher M. Carrere will assume the role of Chairman of the Board effective March 28, 2026.
Mr. Carrere has served on the Company’s Board of Directors since 2010 and most recently chaired the Governance Committee, where he helped guide the Board’s governance practices and leadership development.
He brings extensive sales expertise and business leadership to the Board. Since 2003, he has been a top-performing broker with Galati Yacht Sales in Anna Maria, Florida, where he specializes in Viking Yachts, Valhalla Boatworks, Princess Yachts, and mega yacht sales. Galati Yacht Sales is the largest privately owned yacht sales company in the world and the boating industry’s number one company.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Carrere served as a Purchasing and Product Development Manager for eAngler.com in Tampa and as a Trust Associate for SunTrust Bank in Atlanta. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of the South (Sewanee) in 1999.
Mr. Carrere has also demonstrated strong community leadership. He previously served as Chairman of the Board of the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation and currently serves on its Executive Committee. He is also a board member of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Foundation and was appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis in 2025 as a Commissioner of the Tampa Port Authority.
