Quick fix for Lake O algae woes uses land now roamed by cows

Lykes Brighton Valley will be the third water storage project on the Lykes Ranch. The project's goal is to store excess surface water during periods of high water, and discharge cleaner water into Lake Okeechobee to help reduce algae blooms. Construction begins this fall.
